Arctic issues drawn out

The Arctic Comics Journal is a publication aimed at fostering new connections between the arctic countries.  Bringing forward a local perspective on the impact of environmental change and of globalization. From the hearts and minds of the people that carry these personal narratives, shedding some light on the dark winters.

Join the project
With stories and ideas enriching the public awareness

The creative process introduces and forms paths of discovery to new ideas to age old questions. Presenting information, creating conversation is a community effort and everyone can participate with their abilities by expressing their voice.

Drawing styles

If your interests lie in drawing and layout with an idea of objects or places or things you would like to portray you are perfect for this project.  Even with no idea on what to do with it we can connect you to other people and ideas to inspire your creations.

Storytelling

Being a storyteller at heart sometimes it can be hard to express your ideas. Writing, singing, doodling or even just talking can inspire others and here we offer up a platform for collaboration and conversation on life and what it means for us all.

Inspiration

Any suggestions are welcome into the project.  Shedding light on communal or climate adversities or the benefits of living in the arctic regions offers up a window for ourselves and our neighbours on what matters most. Sharing is daring to dream of a better future.

Our project
Creating a platform for conversation

A drawn out comic depicting the idea or story will be published in our journal it can be from 1-10 pages long or simply snippets of what it is you have to offer be it a song, an image, a poem or a thought.

We can give you contacts to further explore your idea or give advice related to technical matters or techniques.
